Even though it only has 28 (occasionally 29) days, February can feel like the longest month of the year. Luckily, I’ve got an adorable new craft to lift your spirits and help you celebrate the day of love! Everyone is sure to smile when you give them one of these Valentine gnome boxes this year.

I mean, who wouldn’t love getting a box shaped like a gnome, filled with yummy goodies? I can’t think of anyone who’d be mad about that, personally.
These guys are super simple to put together! Here’s how to do it:
- Use a cutting machine to X-Acto knife to cut out the pieces.
- Fold the box piece along the score lines and attach the long tab to the inside of the box with some hot glue.
- Fill your treat box with goodies and fold in your bottom flaps.
- Attach the gnome pieces, starting with the beard and hat. Then attach the nose. Layer the Valentine he’s going to hold, and attach his hand. If doing the balloons, add some strings for extra cuteness, or just draw in the lines once they are attached. Finish attaching your Vantine/hands, and you’re done!

You certainly can! There is a little bit of debossing in this design, which you’d only be able to do with a Maker, but you can either delete those lines or change the score lines if you have a scoring stylus. 🙂
