The Senior Client Services Manager is responsible for overall client satisfaction as the day-to-day resource for plan sponsors, third party administrators and advisors on a designated large and complex block of retirement plan business. The Senior Client Service Manager also researches and resolves complex, escalated issues and complaints.
This Client Service Manager will focus exclusively on a book of Non-Qualified retirement plans.
What you will do
Serve as the primary operational contact, representing Empower for a specified block of large and mega non-qualified retirement plans
Accountable for overall delivery of service to our plan sponsors, advisors, partners and third party administrators
Provide support to Empower’s large and complex defined contribution clients
Manage daily communications with internal and external parties to maintain and develop strong client relationships
Manage and coordinate plan administration; lead client meetings and/or conference calls; proactively maintain plan history/log and address all items
Participate in sales growth and retention initiatives as needed, including finals presentations
Identify unique and custom plan processes and assess opportunities to improve and/or modify processes
No supervisory responsibilities, but will provide support to less experienced Client Service Managers as needed
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in the defined contribution/retirement services industry
Non-qualified retirement plan experienced required
Knowledge of ERISA, DOL and applicable IRS regulations related to retirement plans

Able to apply critical thinking, multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong facilitation and presentation skills

Base Salary Range
$76,300.00 - $107,800.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
