Why has the TV guide stopped working? ›

Check your aerial cable is plugged in securely to your TV or set top box and that the connections are not loose. Check that there is no damage to your aerial cable. Step outside and perform a visual check from the ground to see if your aerial and external cables appear to be in good working order.

You'll find the TV Guide through the Guide or TV Guide button on your TV or box's remote control. Most devices let you open the guide in either EPG (Electronic Program Guide) which lets you scroll horizontally across to see what's on later, or Guide, which tells you what's on now.

Check all equipment for loose or damaged cables. Networks are sometimes retired, renamed or move to different channel numbers. Check your channel lineup for the latest info and search for channels by name or filter by package. If you don't remember which TV package you have, it's noted on your bill.

These channels use your aerial to populate the now and next part of the guide. If you're seeing the words 'No information available' it sounds like you have an aerial reception issue.
