          • The senior picture sign-up link for summer is included below!

Currently, there are only dates listed for June, however we also have an open window in July that will be up soon. Additionally, we will have a few dates available during the upcoming fall semester that are first come, first served, and will require prior registration in the same fashion.

NOTE: This process is handled by the photography vendor and all updates to the senior portrait schedule, link, and order site, will come from them. Please be patient and follow the process as requested.

            Photographer: Legacy Studios

            https://seniors.legacystudios.com/katy-hs-tx/

If senior pictures aren't taken, students will miss out on the yard sign (free!) that gets printed for them and placed around the perimeter of the school, as well as the opportunity to be part of the yearbook. Please remember to sign up early, make it to your appointment (call if late—we can still help!), and pay attention for communication from the photographer as well as KHS outlets for updates. Senior pictures are the responsibility of the senior and their parents, so please encourage them to stay informed.

          • For 2024-2025 Juniors and Seniors

Close up is much more than a field trip – it’s an unforgettable 7-day study visit to the nation’s capital. The student’s days will be filled with countless learning opportunities as the program takes you on study visits to Washington’s famous monuments and memorials. They will get a front row seat to democracy in action in the halls of Congress as well as in meetings with Washington insiders. Every night has fun activities to reinforce what you learned that day as well as nightly socials where you and your friends have a chance to laugh and get to know each other better. This year also allows students the historic opportunity to attend the inauguration of a president and attend some fun events in DC related to the inauguration. We hope that you, can join us! Spots are filling up fast! We hope to see you there!

This Trip is open to juniors and seniors in the 2024-2025 school year only per Katy ISD. The trip date is January 16-22, 2025 and this absence does not count against exemptions. Full Deposits are due by June 3, 2024. The balance of the trip will be due by September 30, 2024. Mr. Yates is this year’s Close-Up Sponsor. Contact him with any questions.
